Masjid At-Tawhid is hosting an Intensive Safety and Security Workshop & Basic Self Defense interactive demonstrations Saturday, January 6 from 9 am until 5 pm, conducted by Sensei Ali Abdul Karim, Chief Amir of Security for Masjid At-Taqwa in Brooklyn, NY. He also provided training for the NYC Police Department. There will also be a presentation by representatives of the Houston Police Department.  Registration is free and meals will be served. Sisters are welcome to attend the lectures and workshop. A halaqa in the masjid for brothers will follow, and a halaqa in the adjacent Muslim Women's Center for sisters.
